Cursor Not on PD1560 but on Computer Monitor-in Windows System
Issue#:
The cursor is not on PD1560 but on the computer monitor when drawing on the screen tablet PD1560.
Reason#:
This case often happens in ►【Extend mode】 of the Windows system. When using this mode, there are three options (Display 1, Display 2, All Display) in the menu of Select Current Display of GAOMON driver.
******Select Current Display menu is to select a screen between your computer and PD1560 as Current Display where the cursor will move on while using the stylus to draw on PD1560.
Because PD1560 is a screen tablet. Most of screen tablet users hope the cursor only moves on the desktop of PD1560 when drawing on it. So to make the cursor only moves on PD1560, you should select the option who represents PD1560 as the current display.
The computer monitor and PD1560 will be randomly recognized as Display 1 or Display 2 option. If you selected the one who represents the computer monitor, the cursor will not be on PD1560 but on the computer monitor.
All Display option is adding the computer monitor and PD1560 together as one display. It means the cursor will move on both of them if you selected it.
Thus you should pick out PD1560 from the two options (Display 1 and Display 2). Then how to?
No matter you're a left-hander or right-hander, when you meet this issue, please do as:
Solution#:
Method 1: use Duplicate mode of Windows system
- Simultaneously press 'Window' + 'P' key on the keyboard
- Select Duplicate to enter Duplicate mode.
When using Duplicate mode, there is only one option: Display 1 in GAOMON driver, shown as below screenshot. There is no need to figure out which one is PD1560.
- Now you can use it as normal.
If you use Extend mode, please go to the second method.
Method 2: select PD1560 as Current Display in GAOMON driver (Extend mode)
- Simultaneously press 'Window' + 'P' key on the keyboard
- Select Extend to enter Extend mode.
- Open GAOMON driver and click 'Work Area' menu
- Select Current Display menu: Select PD1560 as Current Display.
Generally, PD1560 will be randomly recognized as Dislay 1 or Display 2. If Select Current Display menu is selected as Display 1 when this issue happens, please change to select Display 2 and check whether the issue is well or not. Vice versa. If it is Display 2, then change to select Display 1 and try.
